Hitachi offers a wide variety of communications solutions for service providers, including cable TV network operators, telecommunications service providers, and wireless network operators. Current product lines include EPON and GPON Fiber to the Premises solutions. The latest member of Hitachi's FTTP portfolio is the Node+ZeroTM RFoG module which allows cable operators to extend DOCSIS-based RF services over a single fiber optic cable directly to the subscriber's premises. The Node+Zero solution leverages existing headend and customer premises equipment (CPE) and is an economical method of providing video, data and voice services to residential or commercial subscribers over fiber.
