PETERBOROUGH, ON — August 11, 2016 — Capella Telecommunications Inc. today announced that its founder and President Norm Slater has decided to retire after 40 years in the industry. Norm joined Cablesystems Engineering (the forerunner of Rogers Engineering) in 1976 after graduating from the University of Western Ontario in Engineering. He was involved in the engineering of cable plant as Rogers expanded into the US marketplace in the early 80’s, and eventually joined Comlink supporting customers deploying technically complex systems.
